THE VISION
Here is our original vision, but we want your feedback before building to make this community your community!
We plan to have themes focusing on studying the psalms and the prophets from the perspective of the birth of Revelation. We would love to have a weekly challenge associated with the theme to engage community members with each other.
For instance, our first theme might be an overview of Psalms as a whole, particularly Psalms 1, 2, 113-119, and 150. One challenge could be to recite the Hallel (113-118) daily with all of your heart, all of your soul, and all of your might. Another challenge might be to search a digital Bible for references to trees (Ps 1) and share your thoughts on the symbolism of trees throughout the Word.
Our second theme might be exploring Daniel, chapter by chapter each week. One challenge could be to eat the Daniel 1 diet for a week or to explore the references to the number 10. Another challenge might be to look up references in the Word to a fiery furnace and share your impressions.
Each week would include a livestream with Ellen sharing her own impressions of that week's Bible study and challenge and then answering questions from you, our community.
